Poolesville Students Honor Their Principal
By Brian Tolson

Banners displaying the initials R.T.C. were hung throughout Poolesville High School last Wednesday honoring our principal, Mr. Robert T. Crawford.

Heel and tie was the dress honoring the man who became principal of Poolesville High School in 1956—the same year that the 1961-62 graduating class entered the seventh grade.

A program, "This is Your School," was presented with Nona Brown, a senior, as master of ceremonies.

Mr. Crawford's past life was reviewed by speakers Dan Yates, Russel Burdette, Kathy Dilonardo, and Barbara Collins.

Mr. Crawford then gave a speech after which he received a standing ovation.

Following the program, Mr. Charles Barton, on behalf of the faculty, presented him with a leather briefcase.
