Arrest of Baker.—By our Tuscaloosa papers, we learn that Mosely Baker, who defrauded the State Bank, has been arrested by Dr. Tindall, who pursued him to New Orleans. It seems that he had engaged a passage in some vessel bound for Texas. Dr. T. left him in prison, and returning to Tuscaloosa, sent down the sheriff of that county, and an assistant, with a demand from the Governor of the State, on the executive of Louisiana, for the body of Baker, in order to bring him up for trial.
