Full Text

IN the last weekly Paper I saw the Name of Hamilton, late Master of the Ship Friends Adventure. At the same Time think the good 'Squire shou'd have added the unfortunate; as he has made it apparently so beyond all Contradiction..... We are taught that all Things work together for our Good ; but sure, if these pacifick Sages intended this as a general Precept, they certainly would have left Room for the good 'Squire to have sail'd through with my Ship. 'Till then it shall be no Maxim of mine ; nor shall I ever be led to believe that an Owner is not Master of his own Ship whilst there remains a Stick of her unsold. My Ship at present is cognizable in the Honourable Court of Admiralty, where every one that has any Demands, or does Business for the said Ship. must apply, or to myself ; though strangely circumstanced at present, and indispensibly oblig'd to put up with Injuries of the highest Magnitude ; the rest the World shall be made sensible of hereafter : And that whoever finds these said Anchors shall be intitled to the same Reward offer'd in last Week's Paper ; by

J. HAMILTON.
