From the Baltimore Whig.

As to the result of the New-York election, no fears need be entertained; although certain great characters at Washington have for some time been assiduously but secretly employed in counteracting our views. This officious and highly exceptionable interference in state elections, when known, cannot fail to excite an universal indignation throughout the United States.

From the Baltimore American.

It is highly probable that the result of the New-York election will be to the disappointment of the gang of the Political Drummer, who only seeks for a fit opportunity to stir up a similar Commotion in this state.
