Last week a number of transports sailed from the river, for Bremer Lehe, to take on board the remainder of the Anspach and Hesse recruits, which are to be ready to embark there on the first of February. We hear that Lord Petersham and his brother, the Hon. Mr. Stanhope, are to go with their regiments to America with the first embarkation next spring.
Feb. 19. The Lords Amherst and Weymouth, and Mr. Hans Stanley, are talked of as three Commissioners to go over to America.
The Admirals appointed to conduct the war in America, are said to be Byron, Gambier, and Arbuthnot. The two former are ordered to be ready to sail by the 10th of the next month.
On Tuesday Admiral Byron set out for Portsmouth, to hoist his flag on board the Europa, of 64 guns, in which ship he is to proceed to America.
