Event Details

The unfortunate Princess Carlotta, widow of Maximilian, has very few lucid intervals. One who has recently seen her reports that one of her most common manias is to recompose the Court of Mexico, assigning roles like Grand Mistress of the Palace and Minister of State to members of her suite. Often when alone, she arranges chairs, puts robes on them, and holds court by asking questions and giving answers to these imaginary ladies of honor.
