Attorney L. M. Armstrong, who was recently made defendant in a divorce suit brought by Martha A. Armstrong, has filed an answer to his wife's complaint. Armstrong denies that he ever refused to provide the plaintiff with the common necessaries of life and avers that on April 14, 1898, Mrs. Armstrong deserted him and went to Colorado to live without any intention of returning again. Armstrong also denies he has a lucrative practice, but says that at present it is very small. He concludes with a denial that his wife is entitled to any alimony, and asks that her complaint be dismissed.
