Hammond Bentley Revival Meetings

The Washington correspondent of the Baltimore Sun says of these meetings, now in progress in Washington:

"Some of the novelties in the method of preaching and singing do not commend themselves to all the ministers, but those present expressed their desire to labor with the evangelists, not doubting that their efforts would work together for good. Among the ministers who have been present at the meetings are Rev. Mr. Dinwiddie and Rev. Mr. Waugh, of Alexandria. It is expected that a large number of Sunday-school children from Alexandria will attend the children's meeting to-morrow."
