Work Starts on City Directory

The enumeration for Dermott's first city directory will start Monday. As it has been brought to the notice of the Chamber of Commerce Directory Department, some were missed by the census enumerator, which happens in every district. C. E. Few, under whose direction the directory will be issued, has his office at Hotel Dermott. He asks that any citizen of Dermott knowing he was missed by the census enumerator please notify him that the name may appear on the added list.

An extensive program has been planned to advertise Dermott to the outside world, to increase our population and bring in outside capital. When the directories are completed, something tangible will be in evidence to show the many possibilities of Dermott and its importance as a distributing center, which we claim is second to none.

Mr. Few is using as his slogan in this campaign, "Come and Grow with Dermott, the Hub City of Southeast Arkansas."
