GLENDALE CHILD IS ACCIDENTALLY

SHOT BY HIS BROTHER

Clyde, the three-year-old son of W. D. Carlton living on L avenue, a half mile west of Lateral 8, was instantly killed Thursday afternoon when a .38 caliber gun in the hands of his brother, Coy, five years old, was accidentally discharged, the bullet striking him squarely between the eyes.

The two children were playing in a separate room from their mother who was not aware that the children had the gun. Upon hearing the explosion the mother rushed into the room to find Clyde lying on the floor and life extinct.
