TEACHERS WHO ARE ATTENDING NORMAL AT COLLEGE HIGHLY ENTERTAINED BY PASTOR
TEACHERS ENROLLED LATELY
Dr. W. H. La Prade, pastor of the First Methodist church of Meridian, entertained the teachers who are attending the summer normal at the college, Monday evening, with a talk on Tennyson's life and writings. Dr. La Prade is a speaker of more than ordinary ability and his talk was thoroughly interesting and showed that he is a man of profound thought.
Dr. La Prade made a short address at the opening exercises Tuesday morning.
Miss Mattie Lou Brown delighted the teachers with a solo when she sang in her best voice.
Superintendent of Education Powers will make an address this morning at twelve o'clock.
