Full Text

Ballooning.—Mr. Poulin, on Wednesday afternoon, made a balloon ascension from Fairmount, Philadelphia, accompanied by a lady. He remained suspended over the city for a long time, and at last descended into the Delaware near the Jersey shore, a short distance below the Navy Yard. The parties were rescued from their unpleasant situation by some one in the neighborhood going to their assistance in a batteau. We should suppose this would dampen the ardor of the lady for any further aerial flights.
