Daniel And Arnold Heard At Mt. Gilead

Warning that Paul preached the gospel with such force that many turned against him. Rev. J. H. Daniel reeled and rocked his congregation at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Sunday afternoon with a stem-winder message. The Rev. Taschereau Arnold evangelist, preached at the morning services, and one person united with the church for baptism after hearing Rev. Mr. Arnold preached the word.

Revival services opened up Monday night in a big way with the Rev. M. Stafford conducting the drive. Rev. Mr. Arnold was the dinner guest of Rev. and Mrs. Daniel at their home, 666 Spencer St.

The Mt. Gilead edifice has recently been painted inside and outside, making it one of the most attractive churches on the west-side.
