Chicago, October 14.-Nothing in athletics-in prize-fighting, running, riding, wheeling or physical record-breaking of any kind-appeals to me in its physical aspect to compare with the indefatigable campaign work of William Jennings Bryan. His is something more than an iron constitution. His performance, in the light of mere physical effort, has been wonderful.
