Swank Bistro Opens In Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -(ANP)- The new interracial Ritz Lounge, located at 2646 North Harding St., had its grand opening Saturday with the nationally known Jimmie Cole and his recording "Cole Tatters" combo on the bandstand. Many of Naptown's music lovers were on hand to dig one of the middlewest's finest night spots. It was standing room only. This cozy establishment specializes in the best of mixed drinks, beer and the best of entertainment.

The genial hostess Nina Kaufman, known from coast to coast for her many bistros is a relative of bandleader Phil Harris of records, TV and radio fame. The press has been advised that only the best entertainment will be used at the Lounge, including some of the nation's top stars. Duke Ellington and members of his orchestra were visitors to the spot while in the city recently.
