SCHOOL NOTES

Havana school is nearing the close and the pupils are beginning to complain about final examinations being so near at hand. It has been said by several of the Havana patrons that this has been the most successful term of school in the history of the Havana senior high.

There will be about fifty honor certificates given this term to pupils for perfect attendance, which shows some increase in perfect attendance over last year.

The orphan boys from Macon gave splendid concert in the Havana school auditorium last Tuesday evening. A good crowd was present.

Second Grade—Helen Daniels, Edward Maxwell and Edward Rudd.

Third Grade—Hampton Godwin, Fred Arrington, Jeanette Williams, Lillian Bowen and Lucille Smith.

Fifth Grade—Marie Holder and Roscoe Watson.

Sixth Grade—Carlton Glover, Emmie Adams, Frances Palmer and Sara Strickland.

Seventh Grade—Catherine Pittman.

Eighth Grade—Martha Lee Blackman, Bessie Mary Shelfer, Faye Reeves, Alice Chandler and Louise Worthy.

Ninth Grade—Elizabeth Lambert, Alma Lester, Laverne Lucas and Christine Sappington.

Tenth Grade—Florence Pittman and Edna Williams.
