HONOR STUDENT AT WHEATON

Alice E. Taylor, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Taylor, one of three colored girls to attend Wheaton College, Norton, Mass., within the last 25 years and is making a fine record there.

Last September she was elected vice president of the Junior Class and recently was elected president of the Psychology Club in which subject she is majoring. Two years ago she was elected to the Dance Group which admits only 4 new members annually. This group stages "Vodvil" a student production each year and is one of the largest events of the school year. Alice is considered a favorite in this group. She also had the honor of leading the march in the May Day ceremonies. She is a member of the Inter-race, Inter-faith committee, and secretary of the Committee on Reviewing the honor system of the college. A graduate of Girl's High School she has the record of never being off the honor roll during her entire school life.
