WARREN:

SATURDAY, SEPT. 27, 1806.

MILITARY REVIEW.

On Thursday last, the Regiment under the command of Lieut. Col. Seth Peck was reviewed on a field adjacent to their town; where (considering a lowery day) various military evolutions were performed in a manner that reflected much honor to the officers and men; Maj. Gen. Whipple, with two aids, Brig. Gen. Sheldon, with Maj. Stall Inspector of Brigade, and Lieut. Cahoon and Lieut. Melville of the Newport Volunteers, honored them with their presence at the review and expressed a hearty approbation of the order and discipline exhibited on the occasion.
