TURN ON THE LIGHT.

We had thought our government to be administered in the interest of justice to all, and that no corruption was practiced in any department of the State. Again we have been an admirer of the talented young senator from the Panhandle, and we know that his sense of honor is unimpeachable. He is ambitious and guards with jealous eye that enviable reputation won young.

We think he could not afford to jeopardize all this in vain insinuations and unsupportable allegations against the land board. If there is anything behind the tirade, turn on the light that all may see.—Lowie Cross-Timbers.
