Nashville, Tenn., July 28.—Nashville Thursday actively entered the fight to save Muscle Shoals for the South and the nation.
A special committee representing the Chamber of Commerce will solicit funds to aid in the campaign now on foot to have this great industrial development completed and utilized through the acceptance of Henry Ford's offer by the United States government.
This campaign is being waged in opposition to that put on by the opponents of Muscle Shoals who are doing their utmost to block the War Department's acceptance of Mr. Ford's terms in the effort to benefit their own business projects of like nature located elsewhere in this country.
Knoxville, Chattanooga and Memphis are in the fight and Florence, Sheffield and Tuscumbia are already bearing their part of the burden.
