Police Director Due To Leave For Mainland Soon

Police Director Earle Charles is expected to leave for the mainland shortly on a combined business and vacation trip. He will attend a summer session in police techniques at New York University, and try to make arrangements for the purchase of three sets of two-way communication radios for the force.

The Director is hopeful of obtaining the services of Clifford Callwood, son of late well known Clifford Sr. of St. Thomas. A detective on the New York City Police Force, he is due to retire soon. He will be asked to accept an assignment to teach members of the local force.
