BA WORKERS MAP TWO DAYS OF ACTIVITIES
A simple program, which promises two full days of activities reminiscent of pre-war days, will be offered when the Seattle and Tacoma Y.B.A. chapters sponsor the first Northwest Young Buddhist convention since the start of war.
The two-day parley is set for Saturday, Oct. 4 and Sunday, Oct. 5 with headquarters in the Buddhist temple here.
General chairmen are Yoshi Asaba and Hisashi Nishimura. Assisting them are the following: registration-Yasuko Ota; sightseeing--Shig Ishikawa and Tak Shimizu; welcome dance--Miye Ishikawa and Jack Sameshima; Sunday service-Tacoma YBA; pictures-Suzie Shimuzu; Sunday School teachers' meeting--Lily Morinaga, closing service--Ben Deguchi; farewell banquet--Hiro Nishimura, and tickets-Toru Matsuoka. Nishimura and Yosh Tanabe will be local representatives at the league session, and Miss Asaba will be in charge of opening service.
Vern Mallory's popular orchestra has been secured for the welcome dance which will be held in the Buddhist auditorium.

4 p.m. representatives league meeting
4 p.m.-Sightseeing for others
9 p.m.--Welcome dance
SUNDAY, OCT. 5

12 noon-Pictures
1 p.m.-Box Lunch
3 p.m.-General assembly
4 p.m.-Sunday School teachers meeting
5 p.m. Closing service
6 p.m.-Farewell banquet.
