Men Accused of Pushing Fellow Worker Out Second Story Window Freed

SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 24.—Four ship scalers were acquitted of murdering a fellow worker after a jury deliberated only seven minutes last night.

Francisco Jiminez, Archie Brown, Natilio Vallie and Julio Canales were accused of pushing Vincent Torres, a scaler, out of a second story window during a fight at a meeting last September.

The defense contended he leaped.

Seven thousand waterfronters struck for a half hour last Friday in protest against the trial.
