Cold-Hearted?

Who said Jacksonville people were cold-hearted?

Early Friday morning following the fire at the Jacksonville Tourist home, John Henderson, local insurance man, recalled the time he was burned out of his residence—the old Murrill place. And, he also heard of a young girl, Miss Annanias Henderson, waitress of the City Sandwich shop, having lost all her clothes and belongings in the tourist home blaze. Although having the same name, they are not related.

John went to work and in two hours raised $30 by public contributions and gave it to Miss Henderson to get a new start.
