The Supreme Court of the United States ought to be impeached.

For month after month, The Augusta Courier has been carrying at the bottom of Page Four of each issue in red ink the following:

"Supreme Court Ought To Be Impeached -See Your Congressman."

The further we go and the bigger mess we get into, the more convinced I am that we are right in our position.

The more I see and the further we go, the prouder I am of the fact that we do carry this slogan in the Courier every week.

I have reason to believe that as crazy as the members of the Court are that even they now realize to some extent that they didn't know what they were getting into when they wrote the anti-segregation decisions.

The grapevine in Washington has it that several members of the Court are greatly concerned.

Now the grapevine, as we call it, is a pretty good source of information.

By the grapevine we mean those little leaks of information which come from secretaries and clerks and others who work for the Supreme Court. These little leaks of information happen in discussions with their friends and some people in Washington who are very friendly with some of the personnel around the Court are stating as a fact that the Court is greatly concerned.

It is a pity we didn't have on the Supreme Court of the United States at the time of the consideration of these cases a few lawyers and a few men who were not infected with the peculiar type of insanity which has been running rampant among some of the members of the judiciary.

Now, there are many reasons why the Supreme Court should be impeached. We will deal here with just a few.

The Fourteenth Amendment to the Federal Constitution provides that no person shall hold any office, civil or military, under the United States who, having previously taken an oath to support the Constitution of the United States, shall give aid and comfort to the enemies of the United States.

Now, there is no doubt in anybody's mind that the Communists are enemies of the United States. They believe in revolution and the establishing of international Communism throughout the world.

To set up international Communism in this country means the overthrow of the government and the Constitution. All persons engaged in such an endeavor are enemies of the United States.

Now that calls for a little review of our history.

In the 1920's the Communist Party on orders from Moscow adopted a program for the overthrow and the weakening of the United States.

They proposed to organize the Negroes in the South, to foment the rising of the Negroes against the whites, the killing off of the white people and an outright revolution by the Negroes with the ultimate end to establish a Negro republic in the South.

Pamphlets were published and distributed among the Negroes. Communist agents were busily working among them. But the Communists soon found that not even the Negroes would fall for this scheme.

Then they changed their program. They decided it was only through the mixing of the white and Negro races that the people of the United States could be so weakened until they would be unable to resist but would be ready to embrace Communism.

So, they decided that instead of fomenting an open and direct revolution in this country that it would be necessary to infiltrate all of our institutions and the government itself for the purpose of promoting a race mixing program.

mixing philosophy to weaken and destroy the people of the United States.

This policy has continued from that day to this. The Communists have busily engaged in infiltrating our churches, our organizations, all of our institutions and every branch of the government.

At one time they had so many men like Alger Hiss in key positions in the government in Washington until it looked as if the Communists might accomplish their aims at an early date.

Many of the Communists were sent to jail. Many of their open cells were destroyed and their organization forced to go deeper underground.

But the Communist apparatus has not yet been destroyed. It is still working in this country as an organization.

Thousands of individuals are still working on their own without belonging to the Communist apparatus and taking direct orders.

A lot of misguided people have fallen for their propaganda and have aided and abetted the cause of the Communists.

When they abandoned their idea of establishing a Negro republic in the South they decided as a matter of strategy not to make a direct frontal attack but through their method of infiltration to get various organizations to adopt some portion of their program for the destruction of the United States.

The principal program that they have adopted and which has been more widely embraced by the American people than any other is the doctrine of race mixing-the mixing of the white and Negro races so as to weaken the race of people who inhabit this country.

The Communists have done a more thorough job of brainwashing on this part of their program than anything else.

They have been able to secure the aid of many organizations in spreading this nefarious doctrine. They have been able to sell this part of their program to many of our public officials and they have been able to secure the cooperation of many of our people in this part of their program.

They have been able to secure the aid and the comfort of persons in high positions even including the members of the Supreme Court of the United States.

They have been able to promote some of the big foundations to sponsor the writing of books on the subject of psychology and sociology, and many kindred subjects, for the purpose of spreading their propaganda, the brain-washing of the people and the laying of the foundation for the destruction of the virility of the American people and the fundamental ideals upon which this government was originally founded.

In the segregation cases, and many others, the Supreme Court has given aid and comfort to this alien, foreign and enemy propaganda.

The Supreme Court has adopted this portion of the Communist program and as a result have given aid and comfort to the enemies of the country itself.

The new program of the Communists in the United States was expressed in a booklet printed and circulated by them in this country entitled 'Racial Program for the Twentieth Century."

Here's what they said:

"We must realize that the Party's most powerful weapon is racial tension. By pounding into the consciousness of the dark races that for centuries they have been oppressed by the whites, we can mold them to the program of the Communist Party. The terms colonialism and imperialism must be featured in our propaganda.

"In America we will aim for a subtle victory. While influencing the negro minority against the whites, we will endeavor to instill in the whites a guilt complex for their exploitation of the negro. (And what a success that has been!)

"We will aid the Negro to rise to prominence in every walk of life, in the professions, and the world of sports and entertainment. With this prestige the negro will be able to intermarry with the whites and begin a process which will deliver America to our cause."

What they seek is intermarriage. Truthfully, they state that intermarriage will begin a process "which will deliver America to our cause."

The Supreme Court of the United States has rendered this part of the Communist program the greatest service of any organization or group in this country.

The Supreme Court of the United States has adopted this program of the Communist Party as their program without authority of law or any judicial precedent.

As a matter of fact, the Supreme Court of the United States defied the precedent of all the courts of all time in this country in adopting this program. As a matter of fact, the Supreme Court attempted to set aside the judicial precedents of more than one hundred years in order to adopt this policy of the Communist Party.

If the Supreme Court isn't guilty of aiding and abetting the Communist Party and the international revolutionary movement of the Communists, then we are incapable of rational thinking.

The Court may say that they didn't willingly abet and aid the Communist policy. If they didn't do it willingly then they plead guilty to being nothing but ignorant jackasses.

They are either culprits or ignoramuses. You can pay your money and take your choice.

Now, how are we going to impeach them?

There are several ways to institute impeachment proceedings.

The people themselves can by petition file these charges and institute proceedings in the House of Representatives in Washington.

The legislature of any state can by resolution file charges with the House of Representatives in Washington and institute these proceedings.

Every legislature in the South ought to indict them and file their indictment in the Congress.

We ought to organize our citizens into groups in every community in the South and immediately start circulating petitions to the House of Representatives charging the Supreme Court with being guilty of aiding and abetting the Communists, and the other high crimes of which they are guilty, and file them in the Congress.

There ought to be petitions signed by more than a million people in each of the Southern states.

Now, why do I say it is time to do this?

We have been on the defensive on this race mixing issue long enough.

It is now time to take the offensive.

The offensive should be aimed at the chief culprits and the chief sinners—the members of the Supreme Court of the United States.

A movement to impeach this crazy bunch of judges is the way to assume the offensive and now is the time to start it.

You will hear about some plans in the immediate future.
