Senate Worried Over Problem.
Senator Page Wants Ferguson's Picture Labeled With His Impeachment.

Austin, Texas, July 20.—A debate whether James E. Ferguson's picture be placed in the rotunda of the capitol consumed practically the entire morning in the senate today. Senator Bledsoe introduced a resolution calling for the painting of the impeached governor's portrait for that purpose. Senator Page of Bastrop offered an amendment providing that the inscription under the portrait include the fact that Ferguson was impeached. The Page amendment was the signal for a heated discussion continuing for an hour, until interrupted by the appearance of Carlos Bee, who was asked to address the body.
