Eleven Africans Die In Christmas Week-End Clashes
DURBAN, South Africa, Dec. 28 At least 11 Africans were killed and about 20 injured in a series of tribal clashes in the Natal mid-lands hills during the Christmas week-end.
Police reinforcements were rushed to help quell a clash near Pomeroy, where 200 Africans were reported battling with clubs after a member of one of the tribal factions had been stabbed to death.
