Employees of Cluett, Peabody
Inc., at their North Grosvenordale
plant, numbering a personnel
present of approximately 1,100, are
to be afforded an opportunity to
avail themselves of sound insurance
protection at low cost, through a
group industrial plan inaugurated
and maintained by the Corporation.
A self-explanatory announcement
posted this week throughout buildings
of the North Grosvenordale
plant unit, all employees are informed
of the opportunity, as well as
some of the details and highlights
connected with it.

The announcement reads:

All Employees:
Sound insurance protection is a
real present day need for everyone
who works to support himself and
others.

Cluett, Peabody & Co. was one of
the first industrial organizations to
cooperate with its employees in providing
them with low cost insurance
under a plan started in January, 1928.
Nine out of every ten of our employees
have voluntarily enrolled in
the plan. More than a million and a
quarter dollars has been paid to employees
or their dependents in cases
