TWO DEATHS RESULT OF INTENSE COLD WAVE

Kansas City, Mo., Dec. 13.—Two persons died here tonight as the result of a cold wave which is sweeping over this section of the country. Hospitals reported numbers of frozen hands and feet and the police and charitable organizations were literally swamped with appeals for aid. Fred Wilson, a street cleaner, died from a hemorrhage of the lungs, brought on by working in the snow and an unidentified man was found frozen to death in the doorway of a store.
