Full Text

The Sioux Falls Argus-Leader is red headed. In its opinion a Sioux Falls industry has been attacked. The newspapers of the state have recently been publishing a statement that Judge Aikens in chambers at Sioux Falls, intimated that the divorce laws of the state were being in a measure violated by non-residents who desired freedom from the matrimonial yoke. The inference drawn from Judge Aikens' remarks was that the non-residents simply acquired residence in "good faith" in South Dakota in form and not in fact, and that something would likely be done to bring about a more strict compliance with law. The Argus-Leader takes the state papers to task for their comments on the subject, and boastingly says: "In fact the judge has no power to refuse applications for divorce when the papers are regular and there is no probability any ripple will disturb the even flow of the divorce industry in Sioux Falls."
