Upwards of 200 Outward-bound French West-India Men, being upon the Point of sailing; some of the French East-India Men being expected home; also the Havannah Fleet with upwards of 2000 Serons of Cochineal, and an immense Treasure, besides some South Sea Ships: We hear the Merchants of this City are going to make Application for Admiral Martin's Fleet continuing on its Cruize, as the most effectual Means to annoy the Enemy, and at the Same Time to protect our Trade, which would otherwise be, for a long While, exposed to their Mercy.
