ELECTORS.

To-morrow is the day assigned for the Electors of President and Vice President to meet in the respective States to perform the duties of the trust devolved upon them. They are required to send certificates of their votes to the General Government before the first Wednesday in January: one copy to be sent by a messenger directed to the President of the Senate, one copy by mail, and one copy delivered to the Judge of the District. The certificates are opened and counted on the second Wednesday in February, in the presence of both houses of Congress.
