The Crow-bar Bill Triumphant.
The three Democratic Treasurers who first tested the potency of the crow-bar—those of Columbiana, Jefferson and Marion, have been fully sustained—re elected by triumphant majorities. The whole strength of Bank Whiggery was brought into requisition to secure the discomfiture of these faithful officers, but their efforts proved futile—their corruption availed them nothing—the cause of the people triumphed—the crow-bar was victorious.
