Ann Arbor, May 26—Dr. Wilbert B. Hinsdale, who is the grandson of a man who fought at Valley Forge, celebrated his 92nd birthday Tuesday, and is the oldest living graduate of Hiram College, at Hiram, O., of the class of 1875.
He has served for years as a member of the board of trustees.
Dr. Hinsdale was invited to come to the University of Michigan in 1895 as professor of internal medicine and dean of what was then the Homeopathic Medical College on campus, a post he held for 27 years. He was 71 years old when he retired in 1922, at the time when the Homeopathic Medical College was made a part of the University Medical School.
