WITH THE EIGHTH ARMY IN OSAKA, JAPAN--Technical Sergeant Harry Clark, son of Mrs. Jennie M. Woodward of 76 Howell St., Atlanta, Georgia, is a member of the 24th Infantry, now stationed at Gifu, Japan. The 24th Infantry is a part of the 25th Infantry (Tropic Lightning) Division, commanded by Major General Charles L. Mullins, Jr.
T-Sgt. Clark is a Platoon Sergeant in the Intelligence and Reconnaissance Platoon and as such, is playing a very important part in the Occupation Mission of the 24th Infantry.
T-Sgt. Clark entered the Army in February 1942 and received his basic training at Fort Benning, Georgia. He departed for overseas duty on December 1942 and since arrival in Japan was assigned to the 24th Infantry.
Before entering the service T-Sgt. Clark attended Howard High School.
