Full Text

Several militia officers, it appears, have met and answered the Jesuitical address of the foreign juggler, who directs behind the curtain, every state movement. "As it has been authoritatively announced," say they, "that our government is compelled to relinquish the hope of peace, we shall, in our official and private capacities, prepare, with alacrity, for the painful alternative of war."

Contrast this with its reverse, the manly, and soldier-like declaration of the New-Jersey officers.
