"Sonny Boy" really turned it on Saturday night when he won the Super Stock trophy and money at Ted Edwards Drag Strip. He was clocked at 13.73 E.T. and 101 m.p.h. for his trophy run; for the money it was 13.61 and 100.01 m.p.h. The report was right from 630 10th St. that "Sonny Boy" would be flying.
Russell "Sweet Boy" Simpson turned on 14.22 and 102.25 m.p.h. Mr. Bootsie is really working on his 55 Chevy, and it is a real C-Gasser or coming off that line. He has two drivers, the new one is Thomas "Teba" Holcombe, who knows what to do with that 4 in the floor. The boys from Sheetz Motors are taking over and winning!
