Thomas W. Dorr.—In the Rhode Island Assembly. on Thursday morning, in the Senate, Messrs. Diman and Smith, from the committee to whom was referred the Act of Amnesty, &c. at the last session, reported a bill liberating Mr. Dorr unconditionally, and restoring him to his rights, upon his taking an oath of allegiance before the Supreme Court. Mr. Weeden from the same committee, reported in favor of unconditional liberation and restoration. In the afternoon the question being upon the passage of the bill reported by the majority of the committee, Mr. Potter, of Westerly, moved to strike out all after the enacting clause, and insert an act of unconditional liberation and restoration. The amendment was lost, by a vote of 14 to 18, and the question being on the passage of the bill, it was carried, only one Senator (Weeden, of North Providence) voting against it.

In the House, in the morning, a vote declaring the sitting members from the town of Cranston entitled to their seats, was passed. In the afternoon the bill liberating Mr. Dorr unconditionally, and restoring him to his privileges, upon his taking an oath of allegiance, sent down from the Senate,was passed to a second reading without debate.—Atlas.
