PASADENA, Cal., Dec. 29. (U.P.)—The entire board of city directors was recalled at a special election yesterday, and seven new directors will be seated next Tuesday, the outgrowth of charges of "inharmony."
Despite a continuous downpour nearly 14,000 of the city's 39,000 voters went to the polls.
The new board of directors will be composed of Milton F. Brenner, Robert M. Fulton, Peter Hall, Robert E. Dawson, John S. Lutes, Albert I. Stewart, and Edward O. Nay.
The recalled board, headed by Mayor P. M. Walker, included Francis A. Walker, Raymond C. Durant, Carl G. Wopschall, W. J. Wise, Robert S. Allen and Charles H. Paddock.
Paddock is the father of Charlie Paddock, famed sprinter.
Opposition to the present board developed late last spring when City Manager R. V. Orbison was removed from office.
