Tonkawa

Tonkawa, Dec. 4.—The continued rain of the past week has put the roads in bad condition again.

Mr. Barnes has put his 'phone in and we hear another voice on the line.

Several of our young people attended the party at Mr. Dunn's in the Antone district. Among those from here were Andrew Schlitt, Albert Barr, Misses Nellie Barr, Audry Davis.

O. W. Allison and daughter, Minerva are visiting in Kansas City.

Miss Audry Davis is home again after a visit of a few months in Omaha, Neb.

J. C. Edgar received word last week from his brother at Hopkinton, Ia., that he is father of a pair of twin boys, born on Thanksgiving day.

George Markman hauled a load of cotton to Anadarko Tuesday.

Chris Schlitt and wife were visiting in Anadarko Tuesday.

John Markman and his sister, Ella, are visiting their brothers, Ed and George.
