A line of Telegraphs has lately been established on the River Delaware, from Reedy Island to this city, under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce, and the merchants generally. The first communication was made yesterday, announcing the arrival of the ship Fanny. Captain Maffit, from Lisbon. She sailed from Lisbon the 4th of October. We have received papers of that place of the 2d and 3d Oct but they do not contain a single article other than merely mentioning that from their last accounts, the French were concentrating all their forces near Salamanca. The students of Coimbra, who had been formed into a military corps, were returning to their studies. Markets at Lisbon very dull.
