At Jeffersonville a day or so ago
Colonel Harris almost announced pos-
itively that he will be in the race for
Governor and in a speech following
the Colonel's, John R. Cooper, also of
Macon and a candidate for the United
States Senate, referred several
times to Colonel Harris as "the next
Governor of Georgia".
The truth of the matter is, Colonel
Harris would run mighty well all over
the State.
