Capt. Albergom, arrived here from North-Carolina, came into our Capes about the first instant, when he saw a brig, with bright Sides, at Lewes-Town Creek's mouth, but don't learn who he was.
In getting up the Bay he met with much obstruction from the ice, and in the night of the 4th he was drove ashore on Egg Island; the next morning a woman on the island called the people in the vessel, and begged them to come on shore; when they went to her she informed that her husband, --- Stewart, herself, and three children, had staid on the island all winter; that her husband had been dead about seven days, and was then lying in the House; upon which they nailed some boards together for a coffin, buried the man, and brought the woman and children away with them.
