HOLLYWOOD-AP- A P-38 fighter plane crashed in flames early Sunday 60 feet from the San Fernando Valley home of Orchestra Leader John Scott Trotter. The pilots, 2nd Lts. Jack R. Caesar, 25, Arnold, Pa., and Carter L. Caldwell, 22, Umatilla, Fla., parachuted with but minor injuries. Trotter, awakened by the crash, remarked ruefully that he moved into the 10-room colonial house Aug. 1 to get some peace and quiet.
