Full Text
I was pleased to observe in your last, the nomination of General WADSWORTH, for a re-election to Congress.
The uniform integrity and upright conduct of this gentleman, richly entitle him to our suffrages: and a little exertion will insure him a very liberal vote, notwithstanding the secret means of certain of his opposers. This hint is given, that his friends may be seasonably on their guard, and not suffer a defeat from inattention. The jacobins are always vigilant, and never lose an opportunity to slip into office one of their faction. A word to the wise is sufficient.
A Watchman.
