Extract of another Letter from Chester, of the same Date.

"I have seen and talked with a black Man who was in the Room at the Time of the Accident; he is miserably burnt, as are all those that are saved. The Account he gave me was that he perceived a blue Fire under the Seat where the Powder was deposited, and immediately cried out Fire, but before any could get out of the Room it blew up."
The young Man was a very promising Youth, but there was a Couple destroyed who had from their Infancy entertained a mutual Affection, and were designed by their Parents, for each other in an Union from which they can never be severed; the Parents of both are distracted. The young Woman was an only Daughter, and would have had a handsome Fortune.
