SANTA BARBARA, Cal., July 6.-
A slight shock at 11:13 o'clock Saturday forenoon, followed six shocks on Friday.
Civil engineers from Los Angeles and San Francisco have found the total damage here from the recent heavy earthquake to be over $6,230,000. They declared the old Franciscan Mission, the city's most famous structure, "is safe when repairs are made."
Yesterday's was the 96th tremor of the series beginning on Monday, a week ago today.
Deaths from the shock of Monday's quake, June 29, now total 14.
