By an Order of the Governor and Council of this Province, the following Provisions are given as an Encouragement to the Welch that come from Wales, to settle in this Province, on their Arrival here, viz.
1 Bushel of Indian Corn,
2 do. lb. of Rice,
For every one above 12 Years of Age:
200 lb. of Beef,
1 Falling Ax,
For every Male above 13 Years of Age.
2 Hoes, one broad, the other narrow.
Those under 12 to have half the above Provisions.
One Cow to each Family.
Daniel James to have 200 l. Bounty on building a Water Mill.
And Jacob Buchholz to have 200 l. Bounty on building another Water Mill.
