We this morning learn from Staten Island, that there are at the Watering Place about 30 sail of transports, and other ships; that the enemy's light infantry, light horse, and Hessians, as well as their artillery, baggage waggons, &c. were embarked on board the transports; that the British troops and grenadiers remain on Staten Island; that the sick are sent to New York; that the bloody flux is spreading among the enemy's troops; that they complain of very severe duty; and that general Howe is in New York.
No reinforcements had arrived, except 13 transports, with about 1500 Anspachians on board.
