Litter at Lake

An interesting fact concerning the use of the Greenbelt Lake has recently come to light. It is now necessary for any Greenbelt group desiring to use the lake picnic facilities, to obtain a permit, yet, any group from outside Greenbelt may use the lake without approval, according to "Pop" Bell. Outside groups seem more prone to leave refuse than Greenbelters, he said, and with the first few days of sunshine the situation is apparent. The City Manager, however, has assured "Pop" that every effort will be made to remedy the situation.
